The role of schools alone is not enough to provide holistic and effective education. The concept of the Three Education Centers (Tripusat Pendidikan) introduced by Ki Hajar Dewantara emphasizes that three main environments: family, school, and community must all take responsibility for building a person’s character and abilities. The family acts as the first and main teacher, shaping moral values and character. The school, as a formal institution, is responsible for developing academic skills while also teaching character education. Meanwhile, the community is a real place where people can learn from life, strengthen social values, and apply their knowledge in daily situations. This article discusses different ways to make sure these three education centers work well together. The strategies include effective communication, equal cooperation, and collaborative programs. It also identifies challenges such as lack of communication and gaps in understanding, along with practical solutions.Therefore, to create a generation that is not only smart but also has good character and social responsibility, a strong synergy among the Three Education Centers is needed.

PENGABDIAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PENGAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS DAN KOLABORASI PEMBUATAN KONTEN DIGITAL DI PANTI ASUHAN BINA INSANI BENGKULU

This community service program was conducted at Bina Insani Orphanage with the aim of improving children's basic English skills, creativity, and digital literacy through interactive and collaborative learning activities. The program integrated English language instruction with TikTok-based digital content creation as an engaging learning medium that aligns with current technological developments. The method employed was a participatory approach consisting of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Learning activities included vocabulary introduction, pronunciation practice, simple conversation exercises, educational games, and collaborative digital content production. The results indicated improvements in participants’ English vocabulary mastery, communication confidence, learning participation, and creativity in utilizing digital media positively. Furthermore, the program provided an enjoyable learning experience and enhanced participants’ motivation to engage in the learning process. Therefore, the integration of English learning and digital media can serve as an innovative, effective, and relevant alternative for supporting language development and digital literacy among children in orphanages

MENERAPKAN PEMBELAJARAN ENGLISH FUN LEARNING MELALUI MATCHING PICTURES AND WORDS AND ANIMAL DRAWING ACTIVITIES DI YAYASAN PANTI ASUH BINTANG TERAMPIL BENGKULU

English is one of the international languages that is important to introduce to children from an early age. However, learning English through conventional methods often makes children feel bored and less motivated to learn. Therefore, a fun learning approach is needed so that students can learn actively and enthusiastically. This community service activity aimed to improve children's English vocabulary through the implementation of English Fun Learning at Bintang Terampil Orphanage Foundation. The activity was conducted on May 23–24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., involving approximately 15–20 participants aged 3–12 years old. The methods used included ice-breaking activities, Matching Pictures and Words, and Animal Coloring combined with English vocabulary introduction. The results showed that the participants were enthusiastic during the learning process, were able to recognize new vocabulary, and became more active in participating in the activities. In addition to improving English vocabulary knowledge, the program also helped develop the participants' creativity and self-confidence. Therefore, interactive and enjoyable English learning can be an effective alternative for increasing children's interest in learning.

COOKING CLASS SEBAGAI STRATEGI EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING DALAM MENDUKUNG PENGUASAAN KOSAKATA BAHASA INGGRIS PADA ANAK USIA PRASEKOLAH

Vocabulary acquisition is a fundamental aspect of English language learning for young children. One instructional approach that supports this process is Experiential Learning, which emphasizes direct experience as the primary source of learning. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of a Cooking Class as an experiential learning strategy to support English vocabulary acquisition among preschool children. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed at Blinkids.id Preschool on June 2, 2025. Data were collected through classroom observations, documentation, and field notes during the Cooking Class activities. The findings indicate that the activity provided children with opportunities to learn English vocabulary related to food ingredients, cooking utensils, and action verbs through the use of realia, simple classroom instructions, and active participation in meaningful learning experiences. These contextual learning experiences enabled children to understand vocabulary more naturally in accordance with their developmental characteristics. Therefore, Cooking Class has the potential to serve as a contextual, interactive, and enjoyable instructional strategy for supporting English vocabulary acquisition in preschool learners.

PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KESEHATAN BERBASIS CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN CUCI TANGAN DAN OBAT AMAN ANAK USIA DINI

This study aimed to analyze the effect of health learning using pictorial posters and demonstrations on kindergarten children's knowledge of proper handwashing and safe medicine use. A pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest–posttest design was conducted involving 17 children aged 5–6 years from a kindergarten in Kediri City, East Java, Indonesia. The learning activities were based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. Data were collected using a pictorial instrument that had undergone content review and were analyzed descriptively and using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The mean knowledge score increased from 2.29 ± 0.99 to 7.53 ± 0.72. A significant difference was found between pretest and posttest scores (Z = −3.682; p < 0.001) with a large effect size (r = 0.893). Health learning using pictorial posters and demonstrations effectively improved children's knowledge of proper handwashing and safe medicine use and has the potential to support health literacy development in early childhood education.

PENERAPAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING BERBANTUAN PUZZLE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN DAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR IPA MATERI PEMBENTUKAN URINE MTS JA-ALHAQ BENGKULU

Abstract

This study aimed to improve eighth-grade students’ understanding and learning interest through the implementation of Cooperative Learning assisted by puzzles in learning the process of urine formation at MTs Ja-Alhaq Bengkulu. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The participants were 30 eighth-grade students. Data on students’ understanding were collected through individual tests, while learning interest was examined qualitatively through observations and interviews based on four indicators: enjoyment, interest, acceptance, and student involvement. The results showed a gradual improvement in students’ understanding. The mean score increased from 33.83 in the pre-cycle to 60.33 in the first cycle and 90.67 in the second cycle. Students’ learning interest also developed positively, as reflected in their increasing enjoyment, interest in using puzzles, acceptance of the learning activities, and involvement in group discussions and task completion. The implementation of Cooperative Learning assisted by puzzles can therefore serve as an alternative approach to support students’ conceptual understanding and learning interest in the topic of urine formation.

IMPLEMENTASI PENGGUNAAN KONTEN DIGITAL PODCAST (POD’ENG) BAHASA INGGRIS PADA PENGUASAAAN SPEAKING DAN VOCABULARY

The advancement of digital technology has given way to various learning media that can be used to improve English language skills, one of which is podcasts. This study was designed to investigate the impact of English podcast content on vocabulary mastery and speaking skills. This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a data collection method that involved distributing a questionnaire to 41 respondents. The research instrument consists of nine statements assessing the frequency of podcast use, understanding of English usage, vocabulary mastery, pronunciation skills, and the effectiveness of podcasts as a learning medium. The results indicate that the majority of respondents provided positive feedback regarding the use of English-language podcasts. The majority of responses for each indicator fell into the “agree” category, ranging from 39.02% to 56.10%. The findings indicate that podcasts help respondents understand the use of English in everyday situations, obtain new vocabulary, comprehend word meanings, improve pronunciation, and imitate English expressions and speaking styles. Additionally, podcasts are considered effective because they provide exposure to authentic, natural, and easily accessible language anytime. Thus, English podcasts can serve as an effective digital learning medium to support the improvement of speaking skills and vocabulary mastery for English language learners.

PERAN KETERAMPILAN BAHASA INGGRIS DALAM MENINGKATKAN DAYA SAING KERJA MAHASISWA: REFLEKSI TERHADAP SEMINAR “ENGLISH FOR CAREER, SUCCESS FOR FUTURE”

In today's competitive labor market, university students are required to possess not only academic competence but also communication skills that support their employability. English language transeletproficiency has become one of the essential competencies needed in professional environments. This article aims to describe and reflect on the implementation of the seminar entitled "English for Career, Success for Future" and its contribution to students' career readiness. This study employed a descriptive-reflective approach using observations and documentation of seminar activities. The seminar was conducted on May 16, 2026, at the Gedung Serba Guna Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu and was attended by approximately 80 participants out of 130 registered students. The findings indicate that the seminar enhanced students’ awareness of the importance of English language proficiency, career planning, and public speaking skills. Furthermore, participants gained valuable insights into professional communication and the role of English in improving employability.
