PERANCANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING PADA MATERI KEANEKARAGAMAN MAKHLUK HIDUP UNTUK KELAS VII SMP BERBASIS SOFTWARE FREEMIND

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana rancangan media mind mapping, kelayakan media mind mapping, dan kepraktisan media mind mapping berbasis software freemind. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui rancangan desain pembuatan produk media mind mapping, untuk mengetahui kelayakan mind mapping, dan untuk mengetahui kepraktisan pada mind mapping. Jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari 8 tahapan. Langkah penelitian ini mencakup potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk (produk awal), validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk kelompok kecil, revisi produk, dan produk akhir. Data hasil analisis angket dengan menghitung persentase pencapaian kriteria kelayakan serta kepraktisan media mind mapping berbasis software freemind pada materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup yang dikembangkan berdasarkan validator ahli materi 88% (sangat layak), ahli media oleh dosen 90% (sangat layak) dan oleh praktisi 88% (sangat layak). Hasil responden siswa terhadap media mind mappingmenggunakan presentase 87% (sangat praktis), hasil responden guru memberikan presntase 83 % (sangat praktis). sesuai hasil data tadi bisa disimpulkan bahwa media mind mapping berbasis software freemind sangat layak serta praktis dipergunakan menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran IPA untuk siswa belajar dan membangun minat belajar siswa terutama pada materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup untuk kelas VII SMP.

8. Miscellaneous
