FOCUS AND SCOPE

Scope (Disciplinary Boundaries)
Integra STEM publishes peer-reviewed studies that deliberately fuse two or more domains of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to generate new knowledge, solve complex problems, or advance sustainable innovation. Contributions must demonstrate genuine integrative thinking beyond single-discipline extensions.

Focus (Thematic Priorities)
  1. Integrated STEM Education
    • Curriculum models, instructional designs, assessment rubrics, and teacher professional development that interweave science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
    • Evidence of improved student learning outcomes through cross-disciplinary pedagogies.
  2. Convergent Research & Innovation
    • Projects where engineering solutions are driven by fundamental science, enabled by cutting-edge technology, and optimized through mathematical modelling.
    • Examples: smart materials for renewable energy, bio-inspired robotics, computational epidemiology, precision agriculture.
  3. Data-Intensive & Computational STEM
    • Machine-learning algorithms, high-performance computing, and big-data analytics applied across physical, life, and engineering sciences.
    • Digital twins, IoT-enabled monitoring systems, algorithmic fairness in science/engineering applications.
  4. Sustainability & Grand Challenges
    • Circular-economy technologies, climate-resilient infrastructure, low-carbon transportation, water–energy–food nexus studies integrating quantitative and engineering approaches.
  5. Societal Impact & Policy Studies
    • Ethical, legal, and socio-economic analyses of emerging STEM technologies; diversity & inclusion metrics in STEM/STEM fields; policy frameworks for responsible innovation.
