MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS MAHASISWA MELALUI KEGIATAN SEMINAR PENULISAN JURNAL ILMIAH

The ability to write scientifically becomes one of the most important skills that academic college students must have. However, there are still many college students who find it difficult to write science articles systematically and in accordance with publication standards. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of seminars on writing skills in science writing skills for students' skills through qualitative methods through in-depth interviews The research information consisted of students who participated in the seminar. The participants of this seminar activity amounted to 52 students. The results of the interviews showed that the seminar implemented had a positive effect on students' understanding of the structure of scientific journal writing, techniques for logical discussion, and increased motivation to write. In addition, participants were more confident and understood the ethics of scientific publications post-Seminar. Therefore, the seminar is considered to be an effective alternative learning strategy to develop students' scientific writing skills.

This agreement can be terminated by the author or Insan Cendekia upon two months’ notice where the other party has materially breached this agreement and failed to remedy such breach within a month of being given the terminating party’s notice requesting such breach to be remedied. No breach or violation of this agreement will cause this agreement or any license granted in it to terminate automatically or affect the definition of Insan Cendekia.
7. Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by Insan Cendekia or its sublicensee.
8. Miscellaneous
The Insan Cendekia will publish the article, or arrange for its publication, provided that the editorial process is successfully completed and the journal or its sublicensee becomes obligated to publish the article. The Insan Cendekia reserves the right to edit the article for consistency in punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and style, as deemed appropriate.
