PENGGUNAAN METODE OUTDOOR LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MATERI INTERAKSI MAKHLUK HIDUP DAN LINGKUNGAN DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII DI SMPN

Metode Outdoor Learning adalah suatu pembelajaran yang mengajak siswa belajar di luar ruangan untuk mengamati, mengeksplorasi dan meningkatkan kreativitasnya dengan melakukan pembelajaran langsung di lapangan dengan tujuan agar mengakrabkan siswa dengan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keaktifan belajar siswa IPA antara kelas yang di ajar dengan metode Outdoor Learning pada kelas VII di SMPN 14 Seluma. Desain penelitian ini yaitu dengan memberikan perlakuan eksperimental terhadap kelompok eksperimen, dan memberikan perlakuan biasa terhadap kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan metode Outdoor learning terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa kelas VII. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata nlai keaktifan belajar siswa kelas VII dengan menggunakan metode outdoor learning lebih tinggi dibanding dengan nilai rata-rata keaktifan belajar siswa yang menggunaka metode ceramah yaitu 79,0 > 69,7. Hal ini di buktikan dari hasil uji-t (t-test) pada lembar observasi keaktifan belajar siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi (sig) sebesar 0,000. Karena nilai sig (2-tailed) kurang dari tingkat signifikansi yang ditetapkan (0,05), Dapat di simpulkan bahwa metode Outdoor Learning memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keaktifan belajar Siswa kelas VII. Metode Outdoor Learning membawa dampak positif terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa. Karena, membuat siswa lebih aktif, lebih antusias dalam belajar karena tingginya rasa ingin tau yang di milikinya. Dengan penerapan metode ini siswa lebih mandiri dan guru menjadi pembimbing agar tujuan yang di inginkan dalam proses belajar mengajar dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna.
